Take it from me…

Yeah.  It’s a rare Joey sighting on a Monday.
HI HI HI!
I thought I’d share with you some things I learned this weekend.
>> If you go running in the mid afternoon with the sun blazing down on you without a hat or water, you will bruise your ego and pass out.  Luckily, I felt it happening and was able to bring myself partially down before I blacked out, but oh man.  I’ll be bruised up for the next few days for sure.  So lesson #1?  No more running for me in the daylight hours.  Also, must track down a treadmill.
>> Dairy Queen blizzards in a waffle cone DO taste better.  Especially if you eat them outside on a gorgeous night with really good friends.
>> Friday nights spent watching The Voice and Shark Tank with the hubsters might actually be better than going out.  Quality time is golden.
>>Signing up for store emails might seem annoying but will totally pay off.  Planning your shopping trip according to what sales are happening where–and what coupons you have for what will result in lots of fun goodies for practically nothing!
>> Going to bed stupid early on a Sunday night thanks to the bruised ego and heat exhaustion will result in getting a super early head start on work for the week, which will allow you some extra time so you can blog.
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL Monday!!  I plotted out the remainder of my rewrites, and if all goes according to plan I should have them sent off to the copy editor in two weeks!!  Whoop whoop!

And also the passing out while running?! Thank goodness you're okay! I don't know if I would have rather had or not had people around…
