Stuff & Things 4/30

It’s almost like two “in real time” posts in one day.  This won’t go live until midnight, but I’m finally just sitting down for the first time all day at nearly 10PM.  I’m…exhausted.

If we’re friends on Fitbit you know I’ve been kicking some ass lately.  Sorry not sorry.  Hashtag: nannylife.  Or something like that.  It doesn’t hurt that I’ve been in the gym almost every night since Saturday (almost meaning…I didn’t make it last (Tuesday) night).  I’ve been running a quick two miles (well, using that word “quick” relatively, of course) and then working on some arms.  I’m in a wedding at the end of May.  The goal is not to have Oprah arms please and thank you.

Saturday, I spent the day with a new friend (who happens to live downstairs).  We had a full on girls day with a sushi lunch date and we hit a few stores.  While at lunch, we got to watch a whole proposal charade go down!  I knew Amanda and I were destine to be friends when we both teared up for people we don’t know.  Oh, and I accidentally used the men’s bathroom.  But we don’t need to talk about that.

The next day, J and I went to dinner with the girls in our building.  I think we’ve decided our building is the best in Junction.  Seriously, best neighbors ever.  J’s also a very good blogging husband.  He took lots of pictures to be sure we got a good one.

I’m seriously looking forward to a gorgeous weekend.  It’s supposed to be sunny both Saturday and Sunday (fingers crossed) and I swear we’re all counting down the hours until we’re soaking in some sweet sunshine!

Happy Thursday, friends.  Phew.  Is it really already Thursday?

  13. Love sushi dates! We go to sushi once a week and it's probably one of my favorite moments of the week. I know, I have a problem. And yes, you do have a good blogging hubby. It's so important in our "profession." 🙂
