Winter Blues & Sinful Colors 24/7

The weather here has been so freaking gloomy lately.  Usually, I’m totally down for a good rainy day or two, but lately it’s just been wrecking havoc on my mood and mindset.  Is it me, or is January just such a hard month?

I’ve basically been surviving off that Giant Cookie I made the other night.  I probably shouldn’t admit that but you know what?  It is what it is.  And sometimes you just need a giant cookie in your life.

Anyway, to brighten things up I went with a super bright pink!  I think we all do that at some point in January, don’t we?  A good punch of color is good sometimes in the dead of winter, huh?

Sinful Colors 24/7
This might be my favorite pink.  It’s bright enough to make me happy, but in some lighting it looks almost muted.  Just so pretty!  And the formula is awesome.  Can’t beat the $1.99 pricetag.

  1. Do you put a clear over top of that polish? All of them that I've bought have been very matte looking. And yes, this weather has been terrible. Ready for some sunshine. I don't even care if it stays cold – at least let us see the sun!

  9. Love the polish!! I'm wearing a similar lip color today, for the same reason…dumb January weather. Normally it's FREEZING this time of year…today it's raining sideways and 43 degrees. Lame.

  10. Shut up! NYE that was my nail color and I rocked it for a week afterwards. My nails made me happy and long for spring. Double shut up because before I got sick I made my every meal a giant chocolate chip cookie cake. I cannot handle January no matter what year.

  12. I've been doing the same thing. I couldn't do another dark, winter color so last week I did Essie's Madison Ave-Hue and this week it's Essie's Romper Room. The pinks are helping brighten things up around here!

The Sinful Colors $1.99 is a favorite price tag of mine!

  15. The last time I bought nail polish was in September, but I always gravitate toward pinks like this.

Scott, his friend, and I ate a skillet cookie in one night once. That was most likely the last time I made one lol.

  17. Girl, you are rockin' that pink, what a great idea! I get so depressed being stuck inside all winter. I think a splash of color might be the perfect sun-placement for a little while. And about that giant cookie… ever eat 1/2 an apple pie for dinner? Like, literally ONE HALF? 😉

  23. January sucks so much because the holidays are over and all the things that are screaming "JOY! HAPPINESS! LOVE" are all tucked away again until next November. Womp womp. I like your idea of rocking something super bright on your nails to make up for it. That's what I will do this week!

  24. Love SinFulColors. Cheap, great, and oh so colorful. Btw, I found a nice and yet affordable gel manicure. Not sure if you tried it already. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. It's 7.99 and it's not that bad at all. 🙂 Kind of fell in love. 😉
