I’m Off My Game…

Trust me.  You’ll be just as obsessed as I am…
Anyway.

Somehow we’ve made it to Friday.  Praise Jesus, Hallelujah!  Usually by Thursday, my body just says nope, you need to be done.  This week in particular, I just can’t.  I walked upstairs after my Sushi Thursday date, laid on the couch, and needed serious convincing that I couldn’t just stay there the entire night.

I haven’t said much of note this week.  I’ve been off my game.  But I was pretty proud of my post on Tuesday, and if you’re dealing with anything toxic in your life, it’s worth a read.  Oh, and I put a lot into Monday’s post, too.  If you’re struggling to find inspiration and motivation, give it a look.  You just might get something out of it.

Some other people have been pretty spot on this week though:

Tiffany tells you you’re right where you’re meant to be.  And I couldn’t agree more.

Paige shares what she wishes she’d known before she monetized her blog.  This is a must read.

Amanda encourages us to leave our comfort zones and try new things.  This one was like a punch to the gut.  Go.  Read it now.

I’ll be honest, I was off my life game this week.  Pretty much nothing I intended got done this week.  And most nights I was in bed before 9PM, unable to function.  I think we all have weeks like this, and it’s okay.  We can’t win them all.  But I guess that means I don’t get sprinkles on my ice cream cone this week.  Sprinkles are for winners.

Happy Friday, Friends!

  6. That is a lot of Julep polish my friend! I opted in to the box this month for the first time since late last year. I just didn't need anymore but I wanted something fun haha. I am so glad that have that option now otherwise I would have cancelled. I hope that you get to rejuvenate some this weekend!

  7. Just read your post from Tuesday. So sorry to be a behind, I was dealing with being sick. Blah! Anyways… I'm so sorry that you and your friend had to part ways, but obviously it was for the best. I had a good friend that I had a falling out with before my wedding and it was hard. The thing is that I realized that a lot of my other friends kept telling me that she wasn't a good friend, my family did, and even Chris did. While I wish her the best, my life has been so much better since then. I hope that you have a relaxing and glorious weekend lady, and thanks for always sharing your wisdom! 🙂

  8. I had the same type of week! I got nothing done. I didn't meal plan. I didn't pick anything up. I didn't do anything that I should have done. I was SO disappointed in myself. But unrelated, thanks for sharing the awesome monetization article! xo, Champagne&Suburbs

  9. We all have these sorts of weeks. I think the key is to not dwell on them and do things differently so that next week isn't a repeat. I loved our blogging date yesterday and I've spent most of today working on blog posts too (!!). Hope you had a good Sunday despite the weather… although it just made me want to curl up and watch TV all day which I might have done as well.

  10. I know you wrote this post almost three weeks ago but it never hurts to send you a big hug because we all deserve hugs. Hope you receive it soon. I am catching up on blog reading because it has always given me strength and encourages me to go on and find happiness and inspiration. You're always welcome to shoot me an email if you need to vent. Heck, we all have those kind of weeks {or months}. 🙁 Hug!
