I don’t know that I’ve ever been so happy to see a Friday.  The last several weeks have just been mayhem, and I’m definitely looking forward to just hanging out.  Usually when we move, I have a few weeks to get things settled and get acclimated with everything before I start working.  But this time obviously my job started even before we moved!  So everything just feels sort of…wonky.

I will say this, so far so good!  We are absolutely loving our little place, my job is going really well, and life back here in Charlotte is all we could have hoped for (thank God).  But it honestly just hasn’t hit me yet that this is it.  Things were so up in the air for so long that living with that tight panic in my chest got to a point that it felt normal.  I keep experiencing that feeling.  I haven’t had that moment of relief rushing over me yet.  And there are still a few other things that need to come together before I can take that breath of relief I guess.  But isn’t that life?
