>> This happened. That’s me taking my fist bite of a PB&J sandwich. Yup, that’s right. That’s one more thing crossed off the 30 before 30! The oldest (of the family I watch) found out I hadn’t ever had one, and she needed to remedy that immediately. She made me a sandwich (how sweet!) and then proceeded to take many photos AND video the entire thing.
>> Kristina came over to see the new place, catch up, and have some wine on Tuesday night. I just love that my Campbell blogging buddy is now my Charlotte friend! That was really lucky! When she left, I said to J “I just love that it’s Tuesday night and a friend came over without having to drive an hour.” In the same regard, I’ve met two of my neighbors on our floor and both are just absolutely lovely. We clicked instantly, and I can’t tell you how happy that makes my heart.
>> I’m still adjusting. Things went into such warp speed there at the end that I didn’t even know which end was up. I’m completely sleep deprived and not 100% settled yet, though getting there. I appreciate y’all bearing with me while all of this craziness has been going on! Soon, I promise, things will get back to normal! In the meantime, I love you guys!

Serously? Never had a PBJ? Hmm. That sounds a little non American, non college, non human, Joey!!!! LOL
My mom fed us PBJ every day for like our whole childhood so now I never eat it. Yay for Charlotte! Yay for your new life! Yay for walks and ice cream dates and friends!
Hey there neighbor! I live south of Charlotte. . . WELCOME! Just found your blog through Penny's Passion. I recognized your backyard immediately. PBJ, can't have due to peanut allergy so never had one either! I do eat it with almond butter on occasion though. Not sure what all the fuss is about to be honest.
I still have never had a PB&J sandwich. I am not sure I want to. But I did have a PB&J burger so does that count? Haha 🙂 I am so happy that you are closer and able to make more friends and hang out with people more often!!! It takes a little while to settle in somewhere, so hopefully that will happen soon. Miss you friend!
You are adjusting so well!!! I'm so happy that everything is falling into place!! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston
So what did you think of your first PB&J?!? We have them weekly over here, haha. They're really good grilled, too! Hope things start slowing down a bit for you soon but so happy you're happy!
How funny that she took photos and videoed the entire thing! Haha!
And yeah–how did you like it, girl?
Hope you're having a fabulous week!
I seriously used to eat PB&J for dinner every night in college it was an addiction! I love that Kristina is so close to you!!! Having blogging friends being able to drop in like that is amazing!
I have to know, how was the PB&J??? Love the pretty purple nails you're rocking too. I swear walking is the best "hidden" form of exercise when it's something that's just happening. So glad you're loving your new (again) city.
Wait..hold on a minute. This was the first time you've EVER had a PB & J sandwich?! Trader Joe's makes the best peanut butter too by the way. So fab that things are going so well for you guys. Yay to having a blogger friend nearby and lovely neighbors too!! 🙂
I seriously cannot wait to hug you! Love seeing you happy!
PB&J is still one of my go to lunches!
I'm glad things are going well.
Oh how I love PB&J! I eat it almost everyday haha.
I cannot believe you had never had a pb&j before! I grew up on them. I love Charlotte so much and I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. Congrats on being able to hit 10,000 steps! I struggle to hit 5,000 a day. I also love this link up, so I'm going to have to join in next week 🙂 *erica*
It sounds like so many exciting things are happening in your life at the moment! I oddly love settling in to new places, I hope you're enjoying it too. I've never had a PB&J sandwich either – it's not really a thing in the UK plus peanuts make me want to vom. So… On balance, probably not on my 30 before 30 list!
FYI – I'm 43 yrs old & never had a PB&J sandwich in my life either 🙂
Yay for life in the QC!! Thanks for the yummy wine 🙂
Never a pb&j?? Did you love it?
Glad to hear you're so happy!
Glad to hear you are getting settled in your new place!
I have never had a peanut butter and 'jelly' sandwich either. ew hahaha. that's so cute that she made you a sandwich!
Oh girl I hear ya! I've been SOOOOO busy! I don't think I'll be able to post anytime soon 🙁 I can't believe you had never had a PB&J :-p Love that you and Kristina get to hang out 🙂
Never had a PB&J?!?! So…how was it??
Things will eventually calm down! In a month, you'll be all completely settled and wonder what all the fuss was about 🙂
I didn't have a PBandJ until I was about 18…it was just okay. I never liked the combo, but they are good once in awhile. I make them for Scott a lot.
So glad you love your new locale!
Wait, never having a PB&J was one of the funny things we have in common!!! How was it?!?!?!?!
FINALLLLLLYYYY on the PB&J, woman!
That was your first PB&J sandwich?! Whaaaaaat! I've probably had like 300 by now (over my whole life)…. did you like it? Haha… I don't eat them too often anymore but every now and then I do and it's so yummy. Great comfort food! hehe
Wait, hold up. Your first PB&J!?!?! As an obsessed pb&j'r I'm in shock over here haha. What did you think?!
What did you think of the sandwich?!? (And also, awesome that you're loving being back in Charlotte!)
Ahhhhh! The question on everyone's mind … HOW WAS YOUR FIRST PB&J??? We simply *must* know, Joey! 🙂
I need a FitBit. Asap! Plus, I always want to link up with you and always forget or am super super late. Ha!! 🙂
