Pack Like a Pro: Moving Made Easy

So my friend called me last week in a bit of a panic. Without really meaning to, she and her husband sold their house and bought a new one. I'd tell you the whole story about how someone randomly showed up on their doorstep putting in an offer on their house that...

  1. I did not know that you used to be an assisted management of an apartment community. Me too! I did residential management 6 years in Atlanta. That is why I moved around so many different areas of town. Your four movies you have seen more than once? Yeah, those are some of my favorites! I am just confused as to why you and I aren't somewhere eating sushi for one of the places you'd rather be 😛

  2. Isn't Athens, GA a beautiful place, I think this is the first time I've seen someone in blogland acknowledge such.

  4. This is such a cute post! I didn't know you used to make and sell cupcakes! Was it your own business or in a bakery working for someone else?

  5. Clueless is often forgotten I feel, but it was such a huge part of my adolescence. I watched it a few months ago and was amazed at how much of it I could still quote (my memory is terrible, but those lines are ingrained). I was also amazed that I was allowed to watch it when I was 10, but hey….

  6. 10 Things I Hate About You and Clueless are 2 of my classic faves! Also, I don't eat peppers or coconut either 😉

  7. hahaha I always say to my cats 'who's a pretty girl? are you a pretty girl? you're a pretty girl' and it used to drive my husband nuts but now he does it too lol.
i LOVE coconut – and by peppers do you mean hot peppers or like green and red 'sweet' peppers? it confuses me because we call them capsicums and they aren't really sweet… but i hate hot peppers. so.. just curious lol.

  8. I'm sad, all the foods you hate are some of my favorite foods, and all the foods you love I don't like…haha! Well, except sushi – I do like sushi. Also, I love Last Man Standing (Tim Allen 4 life, yo) and I want to hear more about this cupcake baking/decorating/selling job!

  10. We're so obsessed with Shark Tank! My husband has to pitch investors for his company in a couple weeks so we talked a lot about it over the weekend. He has no formal business training, and although I think he's pretty business savvy, honestly most of his expertise is from watching Shark Tank haha!
Glad you posted this – so fun getting to know you a little better 🙂

  12. Haha love it!!! Clueless is a great movie, along with The Notebook. Although Romy & Michelle's HS reunion was pretty good too. I don't mind coconut in a chocolate candy, but otherwise its like eating hair to me. Chris is also allergic to coconut. I hope that you're having a good day so far too!!

You lived in Charlotte? I'm going there for a conference in September. Please tell me all the good places I need to go (or, the places I can't miss in the 3 1/2 days I'm there because the conference is really an excuse to drink and sightsee)
