++ Monday morning, I woke up screaming in pain. I guess I was rolling over in bed and must have accidentally nudged the cat. Well. Apparently I knocked him off the bed and he panicked and clung on for dear life. TO MY NECK. Straight puncture wounds. Luckily my reaction was to pull him UP instead of push him DOWN, so it’s just the punctures. But ow! Oh, and he also got my thumb. So yeah. That was a really awesome way to start this week.
++ I made one of my favorite crockpot meals for dinner on Tuesday (
pork tenderloin) with mashed potatoes and green beans. Trust me. You’ll like it. And it makes excellent leftovers. And this is coming from someone who isn’t crazy about pork.
++ So…I obviously had to buy regular milk for Thanksgiving baking/cooking. In all honesty, I haven’t bought milk in a few months. But since it was here…of course I’ve been eating a lot of cereal. It’s like the time when I quit soda originally and J needed me to test his drink at a restaurant to see if it was regular or diet. It was regular…and I just kept sipping away. “Not all of it,” he shouted. Uh? That’s like asking a crack addict “hey, is this crack? No! Don’t smoke all of it!” (Do you smoke crack? I don’t know the inner workings of the drug world). For those of you who are new…I quit regular milk/cereal a few months ago.
++ And well…sometimes we all need a little something to brighten our days. So here you go.
Now it’s your turn!

Ouch! Thank goodness for scarves to cover that up, ha! And I don't know if I could give up my cereal… it's like a food group to me!
Ah, the otter. So cute! (It's an otter, right?)
Jett always claws at our faces to get us out of bed. He's done it, literally, since the day we got him. Heaven forbid we smush our animals in our own beds…cats….
Side note: as I was trying to do a million things yesterday during lunch and using the microwave in the lounge, another teacher randomly started telling me about her pork roast that was in the crockpot at home and blah blah blah. Like, a full on conversation about it was what she expected. No. I don't even like pork. But Scott does, so maybe I'll have to look into this recipe…
Holy claws! OUCH!!!!!!!!
Oh OUCH!! I'm glad it was just punctures and not scratches, too. Yikes.
Oh my word – that must have been terrifying! Cats are so entertainingly particular. Makes me miss my sweet Fluffy. I had her from the time that I was 5 until I turned 25. Girlfriend was completely insane and didn't use the litter box consistently there at the end, but I loved her.
Also, IS THAT AN OTTER?! So adorable!!
Oh dear – that cat is lucky I'm not it's owner it would have been out for trying to attack me like that LOL!!! That pork tenderloin sounds AMAZING!!
Sorry about your neck!! Bad kitty!! Chris stopped drinking milk a long time ago and only drinks soy, almond, and he just tried cashew. He eats cereal every day, but I only eat it out of the box haha. That pork sounds good too. I hope that you have a great day too!! 🙂
Oh no, you poor thing, cat claws are SO painful, and what a way to wake up! Yummmm, I love pork tenderloin and always looking for new ways to cook it! Love that otter picture, so cute!
I can't even explain my obsession with otters… so, that photo made my day. Maybe even my year.
xoxo

THAT OTTER!!! So freaking cute!!!
Ouch on the puncture wounds. My cat did something similar to my foot once. It was not pleasant.
Your poor neck!! And that otter.. I can't handle the cuteness. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!! xo
Ah that sounds painful! Good thing he's cute 🙂 Hope it heals quickly!
Oh my gosh, your poor neck!! Cats, man.
I bought some heavy cream to use in mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving, too. Normally I just almond milk in place of regular and it works just fine, but it was THANKSGIVING. The one time of year to splurge on ingredients, right!?
Your poor neck!! Bet that was super painful! Ok, that picture is the cutest thing ever.
That otter was just what my Thursday needed!
Your poor neck– but your lipstick looks amazing! I'm going to check out that recipe– sounds delicious with the sides! Have you noticed any differences on not drinking (or drinking less) milk??
Ahhhhhh the otter! I want one! I also want a teacup pig!
Ouchie on the neck! Yikes!!! We haven't done a pork tenderloin in a long time. We sort of burned out on them but maybe I will try yours!
I seriously can't keep cereal in my house….I'm like an addict. I'm thinking about pouring the next bowl and I'm not even done with the first one…..it's a problem I know!
yow!! Sorry about that! Hope your week got better 🙂

See. That's exactly why I don't love cats. Well, that and I'm allergic. So sorry. That looks painful!
We don't do regular milk either. Just almond milk. I don't ever miss it (but I do miss soda).
