44 little hearts

I’ve decided to post something every day until we move.  I just need some kind of project to keep myself upbeat, perky and well, keep me from flinging myself off a building.  I know.  I know.

Today is an absolutely gorgeous day here in Charlotte.  Thank you, January.  I definitely needed some spring like weather to put a little pep back in my step!

So anyway, today I decided to make myself a chain– elementary school style–to keep myself focused.

that’s 44 little hearts.  That’s if everything goes according to plan.

It’s a nice little reminder that the days will pass.  It makes them tangible.  But it also helps to remind me to love every single day.  Do something, anything I love each day.  It’s so hard for me to be in this transition.  It’s like I know this phase of my life is ending, almost over, so why put any effort into it.  That’s a horrible way to think.

So expect something cheerful from me every day.  It’s time I take this attitude into my own hands.  The days will pass whether I’m happy or I’m sad.  Might as well find something to fill each day with happiness.
