Revisions Policy

Our blogging packages include up to 3 rounds of revisions. Revisions include things like adding important but overlooked details that were left out at the content development meeting, reorganizing content or reworking sentences to better present the information and/or fixing minor typos/grammatical errors that slipped past the initial proofreading. All revision requests must be made prior to importing the content into the content management system (aka, your website).

Anything stretching outside of 3 rounds will be subject to additional fees.

The revision process is considered complete once we are given the go-ahead to import the content into your content management system (aka, your website). On very rare occasions a typo may finagle its way through our rigid revisions process in which case we’re happy to pop in and make the necessary edit. However, any copy revisions requested post import will be subject to additional fees even if it is still within the 3 rounds of revisions.

Revisions vs. Rewrites

To revise means to look over again in order to correct or improve. These are minor fixes to an otherwise acceptable framework of content.

Rewriting means to write again. Rewrites are often necessary when a new approach is proposed or any significant content changes to an initial draft are requested. At this time, rewrites are not included in any blogging packages. Due to our process, the content topics and approaches agreed upon at the time of the content development meeting are final unless clearly discussed otherwise. Once a blog post has been drafted, the content is subject to three rounds of revisions that do not include introducing a new framework or approach.
