Because my hair is so long, when I’ve had it cut in the past no one else can ever tell that it’s different even if it’s a good 3-4 inches that are gone. One of my friends always goes to Aveda and she’s definitely had to go back after going home– and now I’m wondering if it’s because not enough was cut off, haha. But whatever she did, does look amazing and makes me looove the blunt ends and that length!

I haven’t had the best experiences at Aveda. One day in college the DAY OF a semiformal, I decided to get a trim (worst idea ever) and I had swoop bangs and the guys completely f-ed them up. I was definitely traumatized! Hope you’re liking the new house… can’t wait to see it!

How does a girl who’s job it is to cut hair end up…not cutting hair for 2 hours?! See this just makes me even more determined to never cut my hair again. The girl who has been doing it for the last 10 years in NJ, the only person I trust, moved to Texas after my last haircut (when, in January 2016, I chopped off a foot to end up with a chin-length bob I have been painstakingly growing back out ever since). And now I’m in NYC where I don’t know any hairstylists and I’ve just decided rather than trying to find a good one, my hair is just never going to be cut again. And apparently, your hairdresser decided the same thing for you 🙈
