As far as audiobooks go, I prefer to listen to books written by the author about the author…like Yes, Please, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me. Bossypants. I am listening to The Boy Who Dared right now because it is all my library has. It is a book that is in third person and jumps back and forth in time/memories and is really hard to follow via audio.

That seems creepy but why not?

You know I love me some audiobooks… it depends on what you want to read. On my book posts, for the past few months, I have put an (A) in front of audiobooks if that helps. Everything I Never Told You was the first one I listened to and I really liked it, whereas others who read the book didn't. I also liked That Night – I just felt it worked really well as an audiobook. Oh, and Rob Lowe's memoir was interesting, and it was read by him! I'm waiting for Unbroken because it's narrated by Edward Hermann aka Richard Gilmore and it's almost my turn, hooray!

As if that's a thing. I do Audible and they have a good selection, if you don't mind the whole subscription malarkey. I think Beach Music by Pat Conroy was in the first person, but it's a heck of a long book and I think in the end I'd have preferred to read it rather than listen to it. Good book, though.
