That cake! My husband looooves cookie cakes, I should probably attempt that sometime soon 🙂 They do the same thing with canceling or delaying schools the night before here. Definitely didn't have that luxury growing up.

Oh my. A cookie in a skillet?? Excuse me while I pick my mouth up off the floor and wipe the drool. And I know exactly how you feel about school never being cancelled. It rarely ever happened in Illinois. When it dropped down to 20 in Florida last week, schools cancelled and all hell broke loose. I don't get it! I've recently gotten into podcasts in the past week and trying to figure out which ones I like so I'll be checking that one out!

A few schools in my area cancelled the night before we were supposed to get a bunch of snow…not mine, of course…and surprise surprise, we didn't get nearly the snow we were supposed to get!

Cancelling/delaying school ahead of time is ridiculous. I'd like to see any one of them come to Alaska and try to survive school in the winter…it can be zero degrees and 4 feet of snow and school isn't cancelled. I've been here almost 6 years and I haven't seen school cancelled a single time.
