Also, leaving the butter in the microwave sounds like something I would do too, I (almost daily) put something in the toaster and then forget about it & never eat it! Homemade meatballs are sooo good, I'm sure yours turned out delicious, and you're so right about the scent of home being so comforting! And that giant cookie looks amazing!
