At the end of our lives, what will matter most? To know that we lived happily, fully, and to the best of our abilities. Bravo! Most people spend their entire lives searching for "it" while it's simply beneath their noses, if they were to step back and see. Lovely post and reminder, to just be who we are, and be the best at that. Although, I don't love sweeping. I'll take any chore but that!! xo

I think it's AMAZING that God wires us all a little differently. I think that's what makes life interesting. Because if we were all exactly the same, then I think we'd all be a lot less likely to be thankful for the gifts we have been given.

Embrace your gifts and talents, because, no matter what anyone says, keeping house, cleaning, cooking, etc... doing those things WELL and finding contentment in them is DEFINITELY a gift. I was not given that gift, and there are so many days I am tempted to wish that I was.

But then I remember that I have my own gifts and talents, and they are enough for me. :)

Your husband is a LUCKY, LUCKY man to have you!

Wonderfully written.

I get a scary amount of satisfaction out of saying, "I taught for 3 years" because here, when meeting new people, you have to know "where" people are in their lives/careers. I get a boost of esteem out of saying that I had a job. Now I'm just kind of floating. I don't want to complain (I signed up for this)...but you know how it goes.

If I would be patient enough to sit down and start writing, I'd have a book going right now. Sigh.

I LOVE this post. Everyone is built different and YOU have to know you're enough not worry what others think! Some people work 2 jobs and are family people and are super happy while others will hate that. We are special thanks to our differences!
