I hit Target the other day (are you even surprised?) and saw that the Airwick fall scents were on sale for $4.99 (two inserts and a plug in). I didn’t even think twice, boop boop boop, in to my basket went three different packs, thank you very much.
When I got home, J and I were in a hurry to pop out for a much overdue date night (thanks to my sweet bosses who insisted they treat us to dinner one night this weekend) but while the hubs took the pup outside, I ran around the house switching the warmers out. And then I forgot all about it.
We walked over to Tupelo Honey (I’m still in awe of the fact that we live somewhere that we can walk to date night. I think living in Buies Creek has scarred me for life). It was absolute bliss. It’d been entirely too long since we’d purposely gone on a date. We put the phones away, shared a bottle of wine, ate incredible food (I had the maple glazed salmon which oh my gosh yes yum!) and chatted about all things life. Our walk back home was almost freezing. I loved it.
We raced upstairs, and when I opened the door to our apartment, fall smacked me in the face! Bliss!
Since the weather and our apartment were reflecting the wonderful season of fall, I was inspired to rock a casual fall makeup look on Sunday! Bring on all the golden shadows and berry lips!!

Oh my gosh, the weather this weekend was just perfection! When I popped into Target, I left with two new pair of shoes so I think your $4.99 purchase was a much wiser choice ๐ Yay for date night, fall scents, fall temps and your gorgeous look!

OMG Tupelo Honey. They just opened one near me and I tried brunch the other day. It was soooo good. The wait was a bit out of control though so I definitely need to go back and get a reservation so I can actually sit in the dining room next time. Fall is TOTALLY here for me too. This morning I got up to walk my dog and it was about 40 degrees. Brrr
I especially looked for them this weekend as I already have their warmers and couldn't find them in Walmart. Guess I'll have to go upscale and go to Target LOL ๐ What scents did they have for Fall? I ended up lighting up one of my warmers with Apple/Cinnamon scent to get me through.

I love everything pumpkin scented. Every year I stock up on pumpkin scented wall flowers at Bath & Body Works because they smell amazing. I've never head of Tupelo Honey, but I looked it up and there is one close to here so I will have to check it out! It sounds like you guys had a lovely date night ๐
I love date night!! Aaron and I went for a nice dinner too. It was a friends birthday so we got to go somewhere extra fancy. It was definitely a nice change from the usual. It's funny I've never really experienced a real "fall" since I've lived in tropical climates all my life, but I still love the feeling of fall. Cinnamon, apples, pumpkin spice, give me all the fall scents!
