OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook
Color Club Harp On It (heart)

This week…I mean…can we not?  The good news is it freaking flew right by!  Let’s hope for a better week next week!  And y’all, it’s Friday the 13th.  Maybe we’ll actually have some good luck today since our luck on normal days seems to have run out haha!

Anyway, because I’ve been captain complainer lately, here are some things that made me happy this week:

  • Counting Crows station on Pandora
  • Quick runs in nice weather
  • Long walks with the pup
  • Being in bed by 8PM on Wednesday night with many episodes of The Good Wife.
  • The husband cooking dinner (and cleaning it up).  He’s a great cook (and actually likes to cook) but is rarely home to cook, so yay for that!
  • Starbucks bacon and gouda sandwiches
  • Ha, my remote office at Starbucks for that matter…I spent many hours there this week.
  • Lots of dreaming.  Lots and lots of dreaming.
  • Reading a book that made me smile from the inside out!  And reading 70% of it in one evening.
Okay friends, so maybe this week wasn’t all bad.  What are some things that made you happy this week?
Happy Friday!

  1. Love the name of that color, good thing that I can always find my checkbook! Oh! So lame I know.. I love bad jokes. Moving on. Nice work on your husband's part with cooking dinner and cleaning up. I spend way too much time at Starbucks too, there is one down the street from work. But the people are so nice there, and yesterday I enjoyed sitting and reading my book. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

  10. That nail color is fantastic! I've been wanting a new blue. I also loved your parka perfect color, too. I need to buy things.

I like that you took the time to list all the things that are making you happy. I've been doing that nightly and it makes a big difference.

  11. Oh hello twin! hahaha, I read a book this week in two days that made my smile. It was a corny, silly book but one that just made me laugh at times and just feel happy. Hadn't felt that happy in a long time. Weird, I know. I was a negative Nancy. Walks with the pup are always fun, especially when the weather is nice and warmer.

Here's to a better week…a better rest of the month for both of us. One, two, three…yes.

  19. That blue. THAT BLUE, JOEY. Love it. And what a perfect, silver glitter heart you added. Keeping it classy with a bit of fun, just like always.

And your week sounds like it was pretty good! I love when I can read an entire book in one sitting. It's awesome when you get sucked in like that. Also awesome? When hubbies cook and then do the dishes (so give him a high-five from me, haha!). Here's hoping you have another great week filled with Starbucks bacon sandwiches! I've never had one, but bacon and gouda sounds incredible. I mean, bacon and cheese MUST be delicious. Its, like, a rule. 😉
