Happy Friday, y’all! Sheesh. This week was a crazy one. I feel like I say that every week. Maybe I just need to get comfortable with the level of crazy in our lives, huh? haha!
- I’ve been making an effort to work from the coffee shop for a least an hour or two every few days. It makes a world of difference to just get out of the house!
- The fingerprint unlock feature on the iPhone 5S (yes, I’m a billion years late, whatever) is rocking my world.
- I mentioned this earlier: meal planning. It’s annoying to put the time in on Sunday, it is. But knowing what to expect come dinner time (and what needs to be defrosted, etc) is just a game changer.
- Water. Water water water. I’ve been slacking on my water intake lately. So I made a point to get my typical 72 oz in each day this week and it just makes all the difference, friends.
- Having to wash bedding. I mean, why is that a thing? (I know why…because gross. But ugh).
- The fact that it’s still humid as crap outside. NC, it’s fall. Get the memo!
- My easily broken body (okay, not actually broken) keeping me from running. Apparently I twinged something in my back and did something to my right ankle. Y’all call now just refer to me as hot mess express. I also answer to Liability.
Now go! Ride off into the weekend!!! Take me with you!!!!

I have spent an ungodly amount of time meal planning and prepping… why can't veggies chop themselves? And have consumed so much water it's not even funny!
I think everyone has some aspect of crazy in their daily lives, let's hope the weekend has a little less. 🙂

Very pretty color! Last week I was reading about saving money on groceries and everything I read said that meal planning saves money, but I'm not sure I agree with that. I meal plan every week, and I don't think it saves us any money at all! But it does make life much less stressful, so there's that.

I have been trying to hit at least 10 glasses of water every day…usually it is nothing for me…but lately I am struggling!

That color is GORGEOUS! I love corals. So pretty. Looks great with the glitter, too.
And I agree – washing bedding sucks. But I'm pretty bad about wanting to ALWAYS be bundled up in blankets. I have blankets kept in my room and in the living room so I can be cozy all the time. And a throw blanket that I can cart around. haha So I think I just don't like having to share the love with the washer. haha!
Washing bedding is awful… I need to do it and wash my towels this weekend and I'm dreading it so much!

i dont even lock my phone. i know i should but i hate the stupid pin you always have to enter to unlock and i can't be bothered to draw a pattern either… maybe i'll look for an app that has the fingerprint method!
